Perfume or cologne is one of the major fashion accessories many 'fashion freaks' apply today in order to enhance their looks and smell great. Certainly, you will smell good all the day when you apply quality perfume or cologne but there are you must follow to get the best from it. Most people believe that by making wet their clothe or body with the perfume they will smell great the whole day. This is actually not the case. Yes, you will smell good but the fragrance will stay longer on your body if you abide by these rules.
Most people make the
mistakes of applying too many drops of perfume on their body because they think that by applying many drops, they will smell
good all day. But this is a waste of perfume and you may end up irritating others. Apply few drops of a quality perfume and its fragrance will last all day. You may
not perceive the scent after a while but you will
keep receiving compliments from your people around.
DON'T SPRAY ON SWEATY AND DIRT BODY
You will want to puke when you perceive a mixture of a sweet fragrance and body odour. Thats what happens when you mask bad odour from your body with a perfume. It is better to apply
the perfume after taking a shower. So you smell fresh and your perfume stays on.
SPRAY AT THE RIGHT PARTS
Applying perfume on some parts of the body is a no-no. Perfumes are not be applied on areas you sweat more like the underarms. The right parts to apply them are on your hair strands, earlobe, shoulder, belly button (because they emit heat and maximize scent intensity), hands, pulse points (wrists, inside the elbow, ankles and behind your knees) as advised by Ruth Mastenbroek, a UK perfume expert. It is not even the best to apply it
on your clothes because it can stain it. Avoid any contact with open wounds or
the eyes because perfumes are meant for external use.
USE THE RIGHT TYPE FOR THE RIGHT OCCASIONS AND WEATHER
There are perfumes for
different occasions and weather. Before you apply a perfume or cologne
make sure that it suits the occasion and weather you are using it for.
If you stick to the
above rules, you are sure to get heads in your direction.
